The "Proud Animal Lovers Shelter" aka PALS is a no-kill, state-licensed, 501(C)(3) non-profit organization supported by donations and any grants we are fortunate enough to receive. We began our operation in January 2010 with a small group of dedicated citizens who share a passion for helping animals. 

We operate with only one full-time paid Shelter Manager, two part-time paid employees, and many wonderful folks who volunteer their time. We couldn't continue to shelter and care for the animals waiting for adoption without them.
